Association Services was born out of an accounting firm in the spring of 2000. Having a CPA as one of our owners gave us our first core value of Integrity. Our early work was with developers of homeowner associations around the east Pierce County. As east Pierce County grew, so did we.
In 2003 Association Services became member of the Washington Chapter of Community Association Institute. We began attending classes and earning our individual designations. In 2009 we became an Accredited Association Management Company. This gave rise to Knowledge as our second core value. We’ve learned that education is as important to Board of Directors and the members as it is to us.
Collaboration became our third core value as we learned the meaning of team management. Working closely with our Boards, we work as a team to create the community that the Association envisions. We truly believe that the sum is greater than its parts. Collaboration has help us to arrive at our company’s mantra, “We believe there is a better way.”
